The Rector
Rector of UIN
The Rector is the guarantor of the scientific, administrative and financial functioning of all institutions of the university, in accordance with current regulations.
Main prerogatives
Guarantor of the scientific, administrative and financial functioning of the university
Representative of the university to other organizations and bodies
Authority responsible for executing the general policy before the Management Council
Advisor to the Council President; proposes ways and means of development
Authorized to sign or cancel contracts of the university
Submission of an annual detailed report to the President of the Management Council
Convening and chairing the University Council
Validation of decisions from faculty, institute, center councils and the procurement commission
Signing sanctions against staff and students
Appointment of all civil servants and workers
Possible delegation of certain areas of competence to deputies
Appointment of the Director of Protocol and General Relations
Vice-Recteurs
Vice-Rector — Academic Affairs and Scientific Research
Assists the Rector in managing academic affairs and scientific research. Acts as Rector in his absence.

- Acting Rector in case of absence
Vice-Rector — Administrative and Financial Affairs
Assists the Rector in the administrative and financial management of the university.

General Secretariat
The General Secretary is permanently in charge of the administrative coordination of the university.
Coordinate, under the supervision of the Rector, the administrative action of the university
Establish and keep the minutes of the Management Council and Executive Council meetings
Send notifications provided for by the Statutes
Keep the registers, documents and seals of the university
Affix the seal of the university on all official documents
Direction of Protocol and General Relations
Under the authority of the Rector, this direction is responsible for:
Improving relations between the university and the local administration of the host country
Welcoming visitors and accompanying them during their visit
Collecting and recording addresses of persons and institutions
