Deanship of Higher Studies and Scientific Research
Master and Doctorate in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language — since 2014
About the Deanship
The Deanship of Higher Studies and Scientific Research at the Islamic University of Niger oversees the Master's and Doctoral cycles in the fundamental disciplines of the university's identity.
The University had the privilege, during the 2014-2015 academic year, of opening the Master's cycle in Islamic Sharia, Arabic language and literature. This represents a qualitative leap from the University's Board of Trustees, orienting students towards in-depth study of Islamic, linguistic and literary disciplines.
The effort to anchor Islamic, linguistic and literary studies and to develop their programs constitutes a process of drawing clear contours for the university in its scientific and practical journey.
During the 2017-2018 academic year, the University had the privilege of opening the Doctoral School in the same specialties, orienting researcher-students towards in-depth study of Islamic, linguistic and literary disciplines.
